Kala Ghoda Art Festival


Mumbai: It was a week full of fun for Mumbaikars as people from far and wide visited the Kala Ghoda Arts Fest 2013 held in the Island City.

Starting from art installations to movie screenings and street food to music and dance concerts, Mumbaikars enjoyed the festival to the fullest. 
The festival displayed amazing creativity that gave social awareness messages and were also made up of waste materials keeping ahead the slogan of best out of waste. 
As Indian cinema is celebrating its golden jubilee year, there was a installation that remembered the glory of Indian cinema. 
There were other installations on the topic on safeguarding women rights, corruption, Dabbawallas from Mumbai, global warming among others. 
This festival that kicked off from February 2 continued till February 10.
